Project

The largest project financed by the County’s $80,595,000 Water & Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 2023 is an expansion of the treatment capacity at the County’s Timothy G. Broome Water Treatment Plant from 14 to 18 million gallons per day (MGD). The County’s water system operates as a County “regional” facility providing retail service to customers in the County’s service area and bulk service to other utility systems. This expansion project is critical to meet the needs of the County’s growing population.
